(3) Be sure to install a safety fence with a safety gate around the system so that no operator can enter the inside of the fence without opening the gate. To ensure operator safety, make sure that an operator can be aware of the robot in motion by a warning light or some other visual indication, or an audible alert. In this condition, the robot is still regarded as in motion. (2) Even when the robot is stationary during operation, it may be ready to operate while, for example, waiting for a start signal. (1) Have the robot system operators attend the training courses heldįANUC provides various training courses. Careful consideration must be made to ensure operator safety. The following lists the general safety precautions. Be sure to review your safeguards before starting robot system operation. It is very dangerous to enter the robot work area while the system is operating.
